The process for acquiring a Negotiator Certificate
In order to negotiate with Customary Land Owners, to lease land, a negotiator Certificate must be obtained. The process is as shown below:
- Application form is completed and submitted it to the Planning Unit. When the application is received, an advice on the application is provided and it is registered in our system and an investigation on the application is carried out.
- Application for Negotiator Certificate is placed on the Land Management Planning Committee (LMPC) agenda. LMPC members are then notified of the meeting date.
- Application is lodged for screening by the Land Management and planning Committee (LMPC)(LMPC Meetings occur once a Month)
