Lease registration application checklist Lease Transfer application checklist
When submitting your application form (Click here to download) at the Land Registry Section, ensure that you have included the following items:
  • Date.
  • Title number.
  • Name of Lessor.
  • Name of Lessee.
  • Lease Class.
  • Premium Value.
  • Start Date.
  • Land Rent.
  • Survey Plan.


The attached Survey Plan must include the following:

  • plan.
  • title number.
  • land area (in hectares).
  • the parties (lessee and lessor) signatures.
 Ensure that your application form includes the:
  • Title Number.
  • Name of Transferor.
  • Name of Transferee.

Discharge of mortgage application checklist

Ensure that your application form includes the:
  • Date.
  • Title number.
  • Name of lease owner.
  • Name of bank.

Caution application checklist

The Land Registry will not accept any caution application over land that is disputed or if the lease owner is in debt. Otherwise all is needed is:
  • The names of the parties involved in the caution.
Mortgage application checklist
Your application form must include the:
  • Mortgage value.
  • Consent form.
  • Bank document.
  • Minister of Lands signature (if the land is located in the urban area or is disputed).
